Welcome to HarleyWood Construction Ltd!

Embarking on my journey in 2007, I transitioned from the academic world as a university student in Western Australia to the realm of craftsmanship, trading textbooks for tool belts. Immersing myself in a carpentry and joinery apprenticeship, I honed my skills and mastered my trade by 2010.

Teaming up with another qualified carpenter, we formed a competitive and reputable framing carpentry partnership. A few years later, a call from the mountains and a chance to diversify and challenge my skills in the trade brought me to BC, Canada, in 2012.

Eager to leave my mark, I joined a big-name building crew in Whistler. But I craved a place where quality and client connection weren't buried in bureaucracy. So, I shifted gears to a boutique cabinetry/millworking shop in Squamish, which allowed me to showcase my finesse and attention to detail in fine finishing. Along the way, I picked up tile setting, adding one more notch to my skillset.

In 2019, I had built a solid client base and reputation and felt it was time to start a sole proprietorship and pursue growing my brand in this town. From there, I challenged and aced my red seal certification in carpentry, incorporated the company and hired my first apprentice.

Our company is growing exponentially, and my passion and dedication to being a key member of the building industry in this region is ever-growing.
